Conejo Youth Basketball Association

Conejo Youth Basketball Association (CYBA) is a non-profit organization, located in Thousand Oaks, providing a means of wholesome recreation to youths (2nd grade through high school) in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village area. All directors, coaches, and staff are volunteers.

About one thousand boys and girls in 1st through 8th grades play in the CYBA intramural winter league (December thru March). There are over 100 teams in 11 divisions. In addition, there are travel teams made up of more skilled players that compete against other local communities in the Ventura County Youth Basketball Conference (VCYBC).

During summer (mid June thru July), about four hundred kids play in the summer league.

To encourage academic excellence, Academic Awards are given to each player who achieves a "B" average or above during the winter basketball season. There are College Scholarships available for graduating high school seniors. For those who are economically disadvantaged, contacting the CYBA president may reduce fees.

Visit www.cyba.org or call 805.732.7327 for more information.
