The Conejo Valley Girls Empowerment Center is a new program coordinated by Johanna Jones. In addition to being a girl herself, she has worked with youth for eight years in both education and therapeutic settings. The Girls Empowerment Center is a program designed to increase self-confidence in girls and teach leadership skills to later be used in the community and world. With the support of a volunteer force that is made up of MFT trainees, interns, and dedicated members of the community, the dream of empowering the female youth of American can come true.
