Big Z Family Fun Center in Simi Valley

Big Z Family Fun Center and Restaurant at 2428 Stearns Street, Simi Valley has homemade pizzas, appetizers, salads, pasta and more! They also have multiple TVs, a big screen TV, arcade games, pinball games, prizes and wireless internet.

Big Z's is over 5,000 feet and has over 50+ arcade games. Great place to throw birthday parties, team parties, etc.  More information at www.bigzsimi.com or 805.526.3000.

Note from Conejo Joe:  We stopped by Big Z in January 2010 and overall the experience was very good.  It was a bit crowded because multiple birthday parties were underway but the line to order food was not long and our food was ready quickly. There definitely are a lot of arcade games for all ages. Big Z is located in a little strip mall on Stearns at Cochran and when we walked in my brain was skeptical the food would be good.  We ordered pizza and spaghetti and meatballs and I'll have to say...it was DELICIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and portions of the food. I was expecting a Chuck E Cheese type pizza but this one really tasted good.  The kids gobbled up the meatballs then ran off to play games.  Big Z is 20 to 25 miles from the Conejo Valley area as it is located in the eastern-most part of Simi Valley.

I have been taking my children to Big Zs for over 3 years. They recently went through a shift in management and have had TERRIBLE changes made. The family-friendly, local community atmosphere is gone - replaced by stingy, uncaring management who could care less about you or your child's entertainment and satisfaction. Don't buy into the Fun For the Whole Family gimmick. They no longer serve alcohol (important to some) and don't dare let your child find a prize before the "Official" Free Token Time - they will snatch it out of your child's hands and tell you "it wasn't time." Try explaining THAT to a 5 and 3 year old who truly felt like they had won! Management was no help either - despite explaining the predicament, they just smile and shrug their shoulders. BOTTOM LINE: Save your money and take it to Brunswick Bowling Alley (right next door) - they have bowling, food, alcohol, games, prizes, etc.

I noticed "HEIDI'S" negative comment, and I just have to say- you need help. Preferably AA.
Pretty sad if you don't want to take your toddler to their birthday party unless they serve alcohol!! And, hey, I like to have a good time too, but not at my child's expense. I'm just sayin....
