Ventura Harbor Village at 1583 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura is home to 33 acres of harborside activities, shopping and restaurants. The weather is always so cool over there it makes a nice quick retreat from the warmer Conejo Valley. There is a 36 horse carousel and arcade for the kids and plenty of outdoor activities available like kayaking, sailing, sport-fishing and cruises. Ventura Harbor Village is host to events and activities year-round, including music performances, kids' activities, special events and more (check the CVG Events Calendar).

Ventura Harbor is the largest market squid offloading facility on the West Coast in terms of number of tons, with over 70 million pounds in 2009. Other top offloading fish in Ventura Harbor includes the Red Sea Urchin, Ridgeback Prawn, Warty Sea Cucumber and the Rock Crab.
Though our family's tendency is to dine at The Greek at the Harbor restaurant, there is a good selection of fresh fish, Mexican, steaks, Italian, sushi restaurants at Harbor Village. This is a great place to take the kids or out of town guests. And we stop by Coastal Cone Ice Cream on nearly every visit.
The Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center is located adjacent to Harbor Village.
